At BlueFur.com we believe that education is a life long process. While other hosts are moving towards wizards that design cookie cutter sites we believe that providing education will help our customers design the site how they want.

You might be familiar with the saying “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for life”. We believe that education is empowerment for you to use your hosting. Our courses focus in 4 separate areas; Web Design, Marketing, Business and Control Panel.

We have pooled customers to find out what topics may be of interest to them. We will be adding more and if you have a suggested course drop us an email.

BlueFur.com finished the acquisition of the domain and assets of MXXXXXHosting.org. We are happy to now have this domain to our long list of other domains. We welcome all the MXXXXXHosting.org customers to join our community and we look to continuing to build a stronger BlueFur.com brand in the marketplace.

We are looking to build a small team of 5 customers to become members to our first ever Hosting Committee. As we continue to grow we want to draw on this committee for input and advice from a customers point of view. We will be the first host to ever have a committee of customers like this and feel that input is the key to the growth of our business.

The committee will meet once a quarter for lunch on BlueFur.com and go over an analysis of our companies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. From this meeting an action plan will be built to address the input and implemented. These meetings will be held somewhere that is convenient for everyone in the Greater Vancouver area.

If you are a current customer, able to commit to meeting once a quarter to a 2 hour meeting and provide quality advice and suggestions then we are looking for you. We are not sure how many will sign-up so please send an email to committee@bluefur.com with your domain, name and why you wish to belong to the committee. We will notify those who have been selected on August 31, 2006 by email.

In case you didn’t notice our Unix packages just got bigger. With the market changing and customers needing more and more space for there sites we have updated our plans to meet those needs.

We have created our forums to build a community atmosphere for our BlueFur.com customers. We believe that the opinions of our customers are an important factor in the growth and improvement of our services. We encourage you to join and participate in these forums.

Although this has been done by other hosts in the industry we have wanted to do this for awhile. Our goal for this blog is to provide another form of communication to our existing and future customers. We want people to know what we are up to and were we plan to go.

In the coming months you will find posts from various staff members who will be sharing ideas and innovations that are soon to be or are already a part of what makes us BlueFur.com. You will find marketing tips for your site online and from time to time just fun things we feel you might enjoy.
