Maybe you just want to be a prankster. Maybe you have an annoying neighbor who leaves his television on way too loud at way too late an hour. Whatever the case, you may be interested to know about the TV-B-Gone Pro, which is a more advanced version of the original TV-B-Gone.
This wireless remote can be used to turn off just about every TV model in the world, both old and new. This makes for quite the universal remote, but your motivations can be a little more sinister than that. This is because the wireless remote has an effective range of up to 110 meters, which is over 300 feet. This can make for quite the ruckus at a local electronics store, for instance… not that we would encourage that kind of tomfoolery.
The TV-B-Gone Pro features a series of LED lights to indicate that it is working and the process can take up to 62 seconds to take effect (though it usually exerts its effects faster than that). It also features a “stealth mode,” presumably during which the LED lights do not flash. The iPod-inspired design helps to maintain your secrecy when you use it too.
