Social Media 101 – Pulling in Content

socialmedia1011I have an account on twitter called inlangley this account is 100% used to pull in feeds from various sites so and others in the Langely area can stay on top of what is going on in our area.

The whole thing was not that hard to do using twitterfeed.

To get your youtube feed replace your youtube username in the following link…

Delicious Links
To get your delicious details replace your delicious username in the following link…

http://feeds.delicious.com/rss/[delicious_username]

Digg History
To get your digg history replace your digg username in the following link…

http://digg.com/users/[digg_username]/history.rss

Craigslist For Sale (with Pic)
To get  the various listings from your area you need to modify the [area] and the [town] in this link…

http://[area].en.craigslist.ca/search/sss?query=[town]&catAbbreviation=sss&minAsk=min&maxAsk=max&hasPic=1
