Netbooks like the Asus Eee PC and Acer Aspire One are getting more popular than ever, especially among university students, mobile professionals, and other people who are constantly on the go. As these mini laptops increase in popularity, we will also see more and more accessories being developed for this precise market.
Choiix is a reasonably new brand and company, off-shooting from parent company Cooler Master. They have already developed the Choiix Air-Through Cooling pad for the Macbook Air and other slim notebooks, but what about the people on the netbook side of things? Well, at CES 2009, Choiix was showing off the Mini Air-Through. This is a modified version of the original, accommodating the smaller dimensions of something like the Eee.
The design has also been adjusted somewhat. Instead of two fans channeling air from the back through to the bottom of your computer, the Mini Air-Through only has one. The USB hub has also been relocated from the side to the back and they’re angled for ease of access. You get four USB 2.0 ports. The Aluminum panel and frame add to the cooling performance.
Optimally designed for netbooks in the 7-inch to 10-inch range, the Choiix Mini Air-Through will ship in your choice of black or white.
