In The Sphere: Flaky Clients and Witty Tweets
Posted on September 12th, 2008
I thought about giving another theme to this week’s tour of the blogosphere, but I’ve instead opted to provide you with a nice medley of different posts for In The Sphere. Whether you’re looking to be productive or you want to hear about a horrible customer service experience, there should be something of interest for you here.
Freelance Switch addresses many issues when it comes to the business of freelancing, including the difficulties in dealing with flaky clients. Seeing how winter is just around the corner, they’ve taken the analogy of a snowflake and applied it to three different kinds of flaky freelance clients.
Hummingbird604 is an active member of the online community, organizing meetups and all sorts of other things. Raul, as he is known to the real world, is also actively involved in Twitter where he came across a number of witty tweets. It’s not just about what you are doing; it’s about how you describe what you are doing (or thinking).
Shoemoney is probably of the most respected people on the Internet who make tons of money online. Needless to say, he knows a thing or two about making a buck, so he explains how to get advertisers for your website. Having trouble finding sponsors? Maybe the Shoe can help.
Zac Johnson is also a well-respected dot com mogul, but he is faced with many of the same issues as we are. For example, he ran into a huge snag with his cellular company, declaring that Verizon Wireless sucks. I wonder if he’d be any happier with AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint.
Free Money Finance wants to get the most out of every day, even if he happens to be away from the computer. His one tip to be more productive is to simply put everything on your BlackBerry. No matter where you go, there’s your task list and if you have a few spare moments, you can work on something or other.
