We have built several WordPress plugins either by scratch, modifying another plugin or with the help of other designers. As we have a large community of WordPress users on this blog I thought it might be interesting to create a weekly call out for WordPress Plugin Requests.

- A compare 2 blogs plugins plugin.
Plugins found from requests…
- A plugin that can turn WordPress into a Pligg-style voting site.
- The ability to have a recurring post option.
Plugins still in the queue to be built…
- A single sign on between WordPress and laconica.
- A plugin to change the background of each post based on the author.

I have been looking all over wordpress for a simple recurring weekly schedule plugin. Our site already have a calendar and events system, but it doesn’t do the trick for our weekly schedule, that doesn’t change that often. We are a church website, so if we had something that would allow us to have a Sunday-Saturday days of the week displayed, and then below or beside that, an expandable section where we can list stuff like church service times, that would be awesome.
I’ve searched and searched, and haven’t found a thing. I did find some simple table plugins, but they either aren’t fully tested with our wordpress version (2.6), or they look like poo.
If anyone thinks they have a solution or they can build a plugin, I’m all ears!
