Community Evolved Hosting - New WordPress Plugins
Posted on August 5th, 2008
After making a few plugins for WordPress and submitting them to the WordPress.org site I noticed that WordPress publishes a list of new plugins on their site. I found it strange that they do not have an RSS feed to push out the new plugins. I am building a little script to scrape the site and build an import to this blog.
As a community evolved hosting company we would like your feedback on how best to implement it. Here are the options…
- Daily digest version of the new plugins in a new post
- Weekly digest version of the new plugins in a new post
- Daily digest version of the new plugins in it’s own RSS feed
- Weekly digest version of the new plugins in it’s own RSS feed
Please weigh in with your opinions in the comments.

Great idea!
I’d imagine that a combination of a weekly digest post here and a daily RSS feed would meet most people’s needs.
I’d rather have a new Feed entry everytime a new Plugin is added, and not digests.
