A lot of people have July 11th marked on their calendars, because that’s the date when the new Apple iPhone 3G will make its debut in Canada. The form factor is much the same as the first iPhone, but the new model does come with a few significant upgrades. Even so, it may or may not be suitable for business use. Some of us just can’t live without a physical QWERTY keyboard.
Well, it just so happens that another major mobile phone is getting released around the same time. The dates are still a little murky at this point, but we fully expect the BlackBerry Bold (also known as the BlackBerry 9000) to launch before the end of the summer. With the Bold, Research in Motion — the Canadian company that designs and manufactures BlackBerry devices — is combining enterprise-level functionality with the attractiveness of a consumer-level phone. There’s no denying it: the Bold the looks great!
Some of the key features that you will find on the BlackBerry Bold 9000 include quad-band GSM, tri-band HSDPA (3G), integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, trackball navigation, full QWERTY keyboard, HVGA color display, microSD memory expansion, 2 megapixel camera, GPS, media player, and all the BlackBerry smartphone applications that you’ve come to expect from Research in Motion.
For more information, check out the official BlackBerry Bold webpage. The phone should be available through Rogers Wireless in Canada and AT&T in the United States soon.

Last week we signed up at 22 of social networking sites to increase the authority of our site. This week based on some requests of customers we will adding some PHP code to our site to redirect users based on the search engine details.
This first example will allow you to display a greeting message based on the search engine. You could also use this to display ads to specific search engine users. For example Google users are said more likely to click on Google Ads because they recognize them. Where someone that comes from Digg is most likely not to click on Google Ads. Add the following code to welcome Google users…
<?php
$host = $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];
if (strstr($host,”google”))
{
Print(”Welcome google user. Thank you for visiting our site.”);
}
?>
Now you can modify this script to show a custom message based on a keyword…
<?php
$host = $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];
if (strstr($host,”server”))
{
Print(”Looking for a server? Look at our server offerings”);
}
?>
Lastly you could modify the script to output the keyword in your message if the user used Google like this…
<?php
$host = $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];
$s1 = explode(”p=”,$host);
$s2 = explode(”&”,$s1[1]);
$keyword = str_replace(”+”,” “,$s2[0]);
if (strstr($host,”google”))
{
Print(”Looking for $keyword? You will find more $keyword information here.”);
}
?>

With so much great content out there, it can be tough to choose just five blog posts to highlight each Friday. It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
Buzz Bishop is totally in tune with the latest and greatest that the technology world has to offer. As we prepare for barbecue season, Buzz has compiled his list of the toys of summer. Are you flipping out for the Flip or are you more inclined to rock out with Rock Band?
Fat Man Unleashed sees a lot of people out there who say that they are going to get in beach-ready shape for the summer, but far too many of these people fall short of their goals. He says that it’s about time that these folks cut the B.S. and get fit. No excuses! If you’re going to get in shape, then get in shape!
Stoney deGeyter recently put up a great tutorial on how to move to a new domain with minimal ranking loss and downtime. If you’ve been meaning to move to a new domain, but are too concerned about the potential loss of traffic and search engine juice, Stoney’s article is well worth a few minutes of your time.
Darren Barefoot isn’t really bound to a single location. He doesn’t necessarily need access to his main computer to perform his daily duties. Allow him to explain why he has (mostly) stopped worrying about data loss. Even if his computer crashes, he has (nearly) everything backed up in some Internet “cloud”.
Tyler Cruz is getting ready for BlogWorld. We’re not talking about a flight and a hotel. Instead, Tyler recognizes the networking potential of the blogging conference and that’s why he got himself some new blog business cards. While the initial concepts weren’t so great, the final product is looking pretty sharp.
