Ironically, one of the most popular topics among bloggers is blogging itself. We like to talk about the latest releases from WordPress, how to optimize our blogs for search engines, and how we go about coming up with ideas to blog about. Blogging about blogging is only going to get more popular as more bloggers join the ‘sphere. Here are five posts that I found that, as you can expect, are about blogging.
Nadeesha Cabral of MindBlogger recently submitted a terrific guest post for publishing on Bloggin-Ads.com. The article asks whether you are a sniper blogger or a gattling gunner blogger. Sniper bloggers choose their shots carefully, whereas bloggers with a Gatling gun mindset use their muscle to “vaporize anything in the battle field.”
Bob Buskirk admits that bigger is better. At least, that’s his perspective when it comes to increasing your productivity as a blogger and an online entrepreneur. In his experience, a larger monitor make you more productive. It’s even better if you’re running a dual monitor setup.
Sharon Hurley Hall from PureBlogging seems to have a wealth of ideas, but that’s largely because she is able to find blog content when she’s out of ideas. She describes five methods for overcoming blogger’s block.
Dosh Dosh has a lot to say about blogging, but the articles don’t just surround the promotion of personal blogs. If you run to run a successful news blog, you’ll need to find some reliable (and up-to-date) content sources. Ten great sources are listed, from other blogs in your niche to meme trackers.
Problogger Darren Rowse had a series of posts this week that describe how he would promote his blog if he were to start all over again. He’s describing five specific strategies and #4 on the list is using social media to grow your blog’s readership. He’s got specific tips for how you can exploit social media sites for this specific purpose.
