In The Sphere: Seven Habits of Wealth

Posted on March 7th, 2008

It’s Friday, so let’s have a look at what’s going on in the ’sphere.

Dough Roller wants to, well, roll in the dough. Many of us strive toward making as much money as possible, but do we all have the right mindset? Reading through the seven habits of wealth, I’d like to believe that I have them all, but there’s probably still some work to be done. That would explain why I’m not wealthy (yet).

Sharon Hurley Hall of PureBlogging has put together the parents’ guide to blogging. This isn’t meant to explain blogging to parents, but rather to discussing the nature of blogging from a parenting standpoint. Do you only speak when spoken to?

Jon Lee has decided that today must be epic. It’s must be of the grandest of scales and that’s why he lists the top 5 movie battle speeches. We already know that something about the thousand nations of the Persian Empire are going to make their way into this list, right?

Matt Freedman is part of a special class in school of especially talented individuals. He’s a part of the Website team, so he has little to do with the First Day Video, but it’s still worth a look. The short movie is meant to be shown to students in grade seven who are about to enter grade eight.

Chris Bibey is a freelance writer by profession, but he has been asked to do things above and beyond “just writing.” One of his most recent clients has asked him to supply photos along with his written article and he has politely refused. He still got the writing gig, so it goes to show you that if you won’t get what you want unless you ask.

those top 5 movie battle speeches were pretty cool. I would have never thought to make a list like that.
