Branding 101 – Law of Advertising

Posted on February 22nd, 2008

Branding 101Last week we looked at an example of the Law of Contraction. This week we look at the law of advertising which states that once you have a brand that the only way you can keep that brand alive is by marketing it.

One way you will see many brands exert this law of branding is by being a leader in their vertical market. How many times have you heard Budweiser as the King of Beers? I know those words stick out in my mind. Hear it enough times and you might begin to believe it (until you taste it).

If your not a leader in your vertical then find a vertical in your industry that you can be a leader in.

What brands stick in your mind that make use of being a leader?

What do you think?Comments Off
