I always stick to the ever-reliant Notepad++. It’s the best, and provides color coding for over 30 languages. Not to be an ad or anything, but it’s really the best.

For actual coding, I use TextPad for almost everything although last year I finally started to use eclipse for my Java coding at work. The only other editor that I use is the editor within Wordpress for writing posts and making quick updates to CSS files.
