As the dynamic image is never the same size you will get strange looking images and spaces.

If you want to fix this you can set the 'Static' image in the plugin and it should fix it.

I think I got the update problem fixed now, but any idea how to get the right border to fit tighter around the images? Take a look on my sidebar and you'll see there's a white space on the right. Thanks.

If you're willing to wait, the next version will probably be able to support cURL.

If not, you'll want to change it in the functions activate_dealdotcom and dealdotcom_update. :)

Your host has the PHP function file_get_contents() disabled. The DealDotCom plugin uses this function to get the deal of the day from the DealDotCom site.

I believe that your host offers custom PHP configuration files, but they're meant for people with experience with *nix/PHP. Try contacting your hosts support about file_get_contents(), either that or drop in a cURL replacement.
