First Facebook Web Hosting Sign-up

Published on Sep 17, 2007   //  Emerging Markets

FacebookToday we received our first sale from a person who randomly found us on Facebook. BlueFur has been on Facebook for less then a month now. This customer contacted me in regards to using WordPress even though they were not a customer yet. I tried my best to help them but it turns out their host was not able to fit their needs. They signed up with us and should have WordPress already installed now thanks to Fantastico.

If you own a business then I suggest you create a group similar to our BlueFur Fans group. Then push out an invite to your friends and customers. The viral nature of Facebook should work for you too. Another tip is to keep your group updated with new pictures, posts and news. This will bring your group above the fold and draw new people into your group.

If you are apprehensive about being on Facebook add yourself as your company instead of using your name. Joining Facebook could result in increased sales or traffic to your site so join up today.

  • All those sites are good for business. :)
And if it is free to sign up why not do it.

i know i sent a whole bunch of invites to friends to join bluefur fans, and to get an account. ill have to check if anyone has joined.

  • Congrats on your first sale on facebook.

Have you given myspace a look?
It isnt private like facebook. So anyone with or without an account can search your page.
And you can actually change things around, make your own templates and so on.
